Our company representative will welcome you at Tribhuwan International Airport and drive you by private vehicle to hotel. Preparation and briefing about the trip.
Duration: Kathmandu to Lukla flight (30 minute)
: Kathmandu to Manthali Airport (4 hrs drive) & Manthali to Lukla (20 minute flight)
You will either take a direct flight from Kathmandu to Lukla (30 minute flight) or drive about 4 hours to Manthali Airport, followed by a 20-minute flight to Lukla. After landing at the Tenzing-Hillary Airport, the trek begins with a gentle downhill walk.
You will pass through Cheplung and Ghat villages, enjoying views of lush green valleys, pine forests, and the beautiful Dudh Koshi River. This region follows Buddhism, so you’ll see prayer flags, mani walls, and stupas along the way. After around 3–4 hours of walking, you’ll reach Phakding, a peaceful riverside village known for its lodges, bakeries, and tea houses. You'll stay overnight at a lodge in Phakding.

After breakfast, your trek begins with uphill along the Dudh Koshi River. The trail offers views of forests, waterfalls, and prayer wheels. You’ll catch your first glimpse of Mt. Thamserku (6,608m).
At Monjo, you’ll enter the Sagarmatha National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The trail features multiple suspension bridges, including the scenic Tenzing-Hillary Bridge. After that, the climb to Namche Bazaar becomes steeper and more physical demanding.
After about 2 hours of uphill trekking, you will reach at Namche Bazaar—a vibrant mountain town where tradition meets modernity. Here, you’ll find shops, cafes, bakeries, and beautiful mountain views. After checking into your lodge, enjoy a short walk around in the evening.

Today is your first acclimatization day at Namche Bazar. You will rest to prevent from altitude sickness. After breakfast, you’ll hike up to the famous Everest View Hotel (3,800m). From here, enjoy panoramic views of Mount Everest, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, Nuptse, Lhotse, and more.
You can relax with a cup of tea or coffee while soaking in the stunning Himalayan scenery. Later, you’ll return to Namche Bazaar for lunch, rest, and an optional evening stroll.

Distance: Approx.10 km
After morning breakfast, we will start the trek by taking the west side of Namche. You will walk through small settlements and thick forests. On the way, you will have views of the mountains of Kongde Ri, Kangtega, and Khumbila. This day’s walk is really peaceful. After crossing a small bridge, the last part of the trail to Thame is uphill.
Thame is also known for producing some of the greatest mountaineers. Tenzing Norgay Sherpa, Pasang Lhamu Sherpa, and many others were born here. Thame is a peaceful and culturally rich Sherpa village where you can explore the lifestyle of the Sherpa community.

This day's trek starts with a gentle ascent. Then the trail goes flat through an open valley. On the way, you will have views of Everest, Ama Dablam, and other peaks. After walking through the open valley, you will cross a bridge. Then the trail goes gently uphill to Lingden. Lingden is a small and peaceful settlement.

Distance: Approx.11.3 km
This day is one of the most challenging. After early morning breakfast and taking a packed lunch, you will start the trek by walking an uphill trail to Renjo La Pass. The trail to the top is mostly uphill. From the top, you will have panoramic views of Cho Oyu, Thamserku, Kangtega, and other peaks. Then the trail goes downhill. The last part of the trek is walking along the beautiful Gokyo Lake.

Distance: 2 km
After morning breakfast, we will hike to Gokyo Ri, a popular viewpoint. It offers amazing views of Mount Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, Cho Oyu, and the Gokyo Lakes below. The trail to the top is steep, and we return the same way. Relax and explore around in the evening.

Distance: 6 km
After morning breakfast, we will start our trek, passing the glacier. The trail is rocky and some parts are icy too (depending on the time). It is a short and steady walk. On the way, you will see surrounding mountains view. Thangnak is a small settlement, nestled at the base of Cho La Pass.
Duration: Approx. 7-8hrs trek
Distance: 16 km
This day, we will have early breakfast and start the trek through an uphill trail—mostly ascending to Cho La Pass. This is the hardest day of the trek. On the way, we will see mesmerizing views of the surrounding mountains. Once we reach the summit, you will be surprised with amazing views. Then the trail descends. After walking for about 2 hours, you will reach Zongla, which is nestled below cliffs.

Distance: 6.5 km
After morning breakfast, we will start our day slowly. This day’s walk is easy and short, mostly on a flat path with gradual ups and downs. On the way, we will have views of mountains including Lhotse and Nuptse.
Duration: Approx. 7-8 hrs trek
Distance: Approx. 11.2 km
Today is one of the most exciting day of the trek. After an early breakfast, trek through glacial moraines and rocky terrain to reach GorakShep. After checking in and having lunch, continue to Everest Base Camp (5,364m).
The trail follows the Khumbu Glacier ridge, and though it’s challenging, the reward is unforgettable. Reaching base camp is a proud and emotional moment. Take photos, enjoy the view, and then return to GorakShep for the night.

Distance: Approx. 17.1 km
Wake up early and hike to Kala Patthar, best viewpoint for sunrise over Mount Everest, along with views of Nuptse, Lhotse, Pumori, Lingtren, and others. It’s a challenging but rewarding.
After the sunrise view, descend to Gorak Shep for breakfast, then follow the trail down to Thukla. From there, take the trail to Pheriche, a village located in a wide valley with a river and stunning mountain views.
Duration: Approx. 7-8hrs trek
Distance: Approx. 19.4 km
Today’s trail descends gradually through the open valley and passes Deboche before reaching Tengboche. From there, you’ll descend steeply to Phunki Tenga for lunch.
After lunch, make a final uphill climb through forests, reaching Sanasa. The trail then becomes easier and mostly flat as you continue to Namche Bazaar. We will stay overnight at Namche Bazar.
Duration: Approx. 7-8hrs trek
Distance: Approx. 19.5 km
This is your final day of trekking. The trail mostly goes downhill and flat, passing through villages, forests, and suspension bridges. After reaching Lukla, celebrate with a farewell party for the porters who helped to make your trek successful.
Duration: Lukla to Kathmandu flight (30minute)
:Lukla to Manthali (20minute) flight and Manthali Airport to Kathmandu (4hrs drive).
Take a morning flight back to Kathmandu. Your guide will transfer you to your hotel. In the evening, enjoy a farewell dinner at a traditional Nepali restaurant, marking the end of your unforgettable Everest Base Camp Trek.
