Dhaulagiri Sanctuary Trek - Itinerary | Adventure Mountain Treks

Day 01 Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to Hotel.

Duration: Approx. 20-30 minutes drive
Distance: Approx. 7 km

Our company representative will welcome you at Tribhuwan International Airport with Company log banner and drive you by private vehicle to hotel. Preparation and briefing about the trip.

Day 02 Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara.

Duration: Approx. 7-8 hrs drive
Distance: 200 km

Early in the morning, your guide will pick you up from the hotel. On the way to Pokhara offers scenic views of the Nepali countryside, rivers, terraced hills, and local villages. The bus will stop for breakfast, lunch, and tea/snack breaks along the way. Upon arrival in Pokhara, check in to your hotel and relax. In the evening, enjoy a peaceful walk around Phewa Lake.

Day 03 Drive from Pokhara to Jhi via Beni Bazaar.

Duration: Approx. 4 hrs drive 2 hrs walking.
Distance: Approx. 5 km walking

Drive through beautiful countryside and Beni Bazaar. Begin short trek to Jhi village.

Day 04 Trek from Jhi to Ghyasikharka.

Duration: Approx. 5-6 hrs trek
Distance: Approx. 10 km

Walk through terraced fields and Magar villages. Gradual ascent with scenic views of valleys and waterfalls.

Day 05 Trek from Ghyasikharka to Phedi Camp.

Duration: Approx. 6-7 hrs trek
Distance: Approx. 9.6 km

Enter remote highlands and alpine terrain. Camp near riverside or forest clearing.

Day 06 Trek from Phedi Camp to Odar Camp.

Duration: Approx. 6-7 hrs trek
Distance: Approx. 10.3 km

Trek through dense forest and wild terrain. Chance to spot Himalayan wildlife.

Day 07 Trek from Odar Camp to Dhaulagiri South Base Camp.

Duration: Approx. 5-6 hrs trek
Distance: Approx. 8 km

Steep climb into the alpine zone with amazing views of Dhaulagiri range.• Reach Dhaulagiri South Base Camp and enjoy glacier and peak views.

Day 08 Trek from Dhaulagiri Base Camp to Chare.

Duration: Approx. 6-7 hrs trek
Distance: Approx. 10 km

Descend gradually through yak pastures. Cross small streams and scenic highland terrain.

Day 09 Trek from Chhari to Dagnam.

Duration: Approx. 5-6 hrs trek
Distance: Approx. 9 km

Continue descent through remote settlements.• Arrive at Dagnam village.

Day 10 Drive from Dagnam to Beni.

Duration: Approx. 3-4 hrs drive.
Jeep drive down to Beni along rough mountain road.• Reconnect with the main highway.

Day 11 Drive from Beni to Kathmandu.

Duration: Approx. 8-9 hrs drive
Distance: Approx. 280 km

Full-day drive back to Kathmandu.• Enjoy the changing landscapes from hills to plains.

Day 12 Final departure. Drop to airport as per flight schedule.
