Trip Introduction:

Pikey Peak Trail Trekking, a short lower Khumbu region trekking with a great view is newly discovered trekking destination in Nepal. The peak Pikey is one of the highest hill and scenic view point in Lower part of Solukhumbu. The name “Pikey” is came from the name of a Sherpa deity. The highest point of our trek is at Pikey peak with an altitude of 4,065m/13,333ft from where we can have great sunrise and sunset views of Himalayan ranges including Mt. Everest, Makalu & Annapurna. Pikey Peak Trail Trekking is an opportunity to explore charming cultural village settlements, ancient Buddhist cultural monasteries, and Chhortens, where the largest monastery we explore is Thupten Chholing. During the festival time we can explore local people worshiping their god performed with unbelievable Shamans.

Officially regulated day to day itinerary of 12 days Pikey Peak Trail Trekking adventure package trip with Adventure Mountain Nepal Trekking and Climbing Pvt. Ltd begins after spending a day in capital city Kathmandu with a day guided sightseeing tour around world heritage sites of UNESCO. The Pikey Peak Trail Trekking has to be organized with tented camps since there is a possibility of small tea houses and home stays in few places only.  Leaving Kathmandu, we make a short and scenic flight to small airstrip at Phaplu (where is not operate regular daily flight in a schedule, only available during the trek season) then start our journey towards Salleri. We gradually pass through several traditional and cultural villages, beautiful landscapes, several monasteries, and Buddhist Stupas before reaching at Pikey Peak. After Pikey Peak, our journey heads straight forward towards Thupten Chholing – a beautiful Buddhist monastery. Then we continuously return to Phaplu via Junbesi and fly back to Kathmandu after having great experience of Pikey Peak Trail Trekking with AMN Trekking and Climbing Team.
