Chandragiri Hill Hiking is one of the oldest, rarely done adventurous Hike route near the capital city Kathmandu. We can also go Chandragiri via Cable Car or enjoy the trip combining both Hike route and One-way Cable car. Chandragiri cable car price depends on various factors discussed below.
Chandragiri Hills Hike gives a scenic view point of Kathmandu valley rim situated at the altitude of 2,475 meters above from sea level.
Through it was a great hiking route for several years, also a route of Chitlang village home stay and recently opened with an accessibility of a cable car and sophisticated resorts accommodation at the top of the hill.
From the top of the hill we can have tantalizing scenery of entire Kathmandu Valley and mountain ranges including Manaslu, Langtang and Ganesh Himal.

01Drive from Kathmandu to Chandragiri Hill.
After breakfast at hotel, you will drive 40 minutes to Chandragiri. You will fly in Cable car around 20 minutes and reach at Chandragiri Hill, from where you can see Kathmandu valley, enjoy explore hindu temple, horse riding etc. Overnight at hotel in Chandragiri top.

Absolutely, there are multiple routes to multiple destinations with different levels of difficulty thus you can choose the route according to your experience and stamina. If you want a hand on selecting or preparing for any kind of adventure, our tour and travel masters are always ready to give a hand.
If you have decided to go for adventure hiking certainly there are some preparations you should make.
Payment & Info:At the time of booking pay the required amount and collect all the documents and information as much as you can. Make sure to check our cancellation and refund policy for clear understanding.
Clothing and Footwear: This is the second most important thing you should consider during a hike and bike adventure. You should always wear comfortable shoes and also take hiking season into consideration so that you can buy clothes accordingly.
Food and Drink: Bring snacks or foods as you desire and a bottle of water or other drinks of your choice. Also do not forget to bring a garbage bag.
Generally, Hiking is in charge of a single guide. We may require additional guides for more guests and multiple hiking routes.
Also if you are planning for a self guided tour we are more than happy to make the required arrangements for mountain bikes and every other thing you may need but we suggest you to have a guide that is not that costly and it has many perks then self guided tour.

I feel like we were extremely lucky on this trip taking into account all help we've got from Pradip and his team. Traveling in Covid times is hard enough on it's own, still we had problems occuring all the time. Pradip was very helpful on every step of the travel. Sometimes I even think he never sleeps))) He went above and beyond to help our groups with all necessary paperwork to get to Nepal. Transportation, guide, porters, everything was organised without any problems. But the most memorable thing for me was Pradip's personal involvement in situation when we needed to get to Kathmandu from our trekking ASAP due to lockdown restrictions. As well as get our PCR-tests in one of the hospitals in KTM. Everything went as smooth as it possibly could on this journey. And who travelled to Nepal at least once, knows that something unexpected may happen suddenly at any moment:) Pradip was always in touch checking every step of our journey. I highly recommend hiring Pradip and services of his agency! I've tried services of couple travel agents in Nepal and have something to compare to. Oct 2024 I booked EBC with 2 pass(Chola and Renjola Pass) trek. They arranged everything from Kathmandu to Kathmandu in a very efficient way. The guide they allotted Mr. Bhim Rai was an excellent and experienced guide. I am impressed and do recommend Adventure Mountain Treks for trips in Nepal.
Pralad is the best guide one could ask for! We did EBC trek, beginning of December feels like best period to do this.

EBC Trek with Helicopter Return Oct 2022 • Friends A great trip. Well organised, our Guide Shyam had been very helpful. One of us ended up needing a horse and it was promptly managed. Starting from accomodation, food and helicopter ride back to Kathmandu, everything was pretty seamless. There were some places which could have been improved, but overall a reliable and fantastic trekking service which I will definitely recommend. All the best to future endeavours for Adventure Mountain Treks.
