Introduction

Peak climbing is always a Herculean task. Chulu Far East Peak is most demanding moderate kind of climb among all three Chulu peaks that take towards the altitude above 6,000 meters. This peak was first ascended at 1995 by German expedition team; since then many travellers has made a successful climb. This route provides the privilege to cross the highest mountain pass of the world- Thorang La pass and comprises of every aspects contributing the utmost adventure too. Every climbing is considered physically and mentally demanding at all times. Nevertheless, the travellers are assisted by the sherpas, potters and many years experienced mountaineer. Scenic Trek and Himalayan Adventure

Drive towards Kathmandu to Chame crossing scenic view of water bridges and waterfalls and farmlands and begin a trek towards Pisang, the upper portion of Manang making a walk through the bank of Marsyangdi River, the charming blue pine forest and numbers of suspension bridges.     Trek to Muktinath via Thorang La Pass.

    This is the most challenging yet rewarding day of the trek. We start early in the morning with a steep climb to Thorong La Pass (5,416m), the highest point on the route. At the top, you’ll be greeted by prayer flags and breathtaking views of the Himalayas. After celebrating the achievement, we descend to Muktinath. The landscape transforms dramatically into dry, barren terrain. Muktinath is a sacred site for both Hindus and Buddhists, known for its eternal flame and 108 water spouts. Comfortable teahouse accommodation and delicious food await. Overnight stay in Muktinath.

Chulu Far East Peak stands in Annapurna Region, the most magnificent area of the Himalaya. At an altitude of (6059m/19874ft) and it's geographical coordinates are 28° 43' 51'' N , 84° 5' 8'' E.

Chulu Far East Peak Climbing is considered strenuous peak to climb. It isn't that technically difficult to climb Chulu Far East Peak. This trip is recommended for climbers who have basic level of mountaineering skills.

The best season for Chulu Far East Peak Climbing is during Spring (March, April and May) and Autumn (October and November). According to the standard itinerary our Chulu Far East Peak Climbing is of 19 days from your arrival to Kathmandu to farewell at Airport. If you wish to amend the itinerary you have to contact our booking manager and climbing leaders; they will prepare the best itinerary for you.

Generally for Climbing and Mountaineering we take up to 10 members in a group so that we can guide and coordinate each of them perfectly. If you have a group with more than ten members it’s fine with us. We provide some customizable features however if you are planning to climb solo it is not possible due to the restrictions made by Nepal Mountaineering Association(NMA).

Due to the advancement of the trekking industry, we can find enough lodges and tea houses throughout trip routes. They offer good food and accommodation. There are different options you can choose according to your needs and budget. Also you should know that at high altitude and remote places the service will be limited.

Yes!! It is recommended to have travel insurance during the trip. It is uncertain that you will not feel sick or get into any accidents during the trip. So, for medical emergencies and as precaution against risks and financial losses that could happen while climbing/trekking, insurance is best.

Normally, within 12-24 hours after ascending a certain height (1,500 to 2,500 meter above sea level) altitude sickness symptoms like fatigue, loss of appetite, dizziness, sleep problems, shortness of breath, and loss of energy can be seen. In case of any altitude sickness symptoms we will apply medication and descend immediately for acclimatization. Measures for treating Acute Sickness:

  • You should stop and rest where you are for at least 24 to 48 hours
  • If you feel sick, take an anti-sickness medicine, such as promethazine/diamox
  • Make sure you're drinking adequate amount of water
  • Smoking, Drinking alcohol, or Exercise will make it worse
