Mardi Himal Trek
Dhampus Phedi is where the trek begins after a jeep drive towards bumpy roadway. Standing at the top of the ridge of Deurali sets the panoramic view of Annapurna massif and beautiful Pokhara valley. Moving from Deurali and making a way towards Rhododendron woodland proffers it’s amazing beauty that cannot be overlooked. More the climb towards uphill, further the view of mountains appears stupendous. Moving through the low camp to high camp, the landscapes becomes more steep and little challenging to climb however, the gazing of animals, the scenic view brush-off the little difficulties that the trekkers encounter along the way.

Distance: 200 km
Early in the morning, your guide will pick you up from the hotel. On the way to Pokhara offers scenic views of the Nepali countryside, rivers, terraced hills, and local villages. The bus will stop for breakfast, lunch, and tea/snack breaks along the way. Upon arrival in Pokhara, check in to your hotel and relax. In the evening, enjoy a peaceful walk around Phewa Lake.

Distance: 55 km
Today marks the beginning of the actual trekking adventure. After breakfast, we drive from Pokhara to Khande, passing through scenic locations such as Bagar, Lamachaur, Hyanja, Phedi, and Naudanda. Along the way, enjoy sights of the sacred Bindhyabasini Temple, Ghobang River, lush green hills, cascading waterfalls, and picturesque roadside settlements.
Once we arrive in Khande, the trek begins. To allow proper acclimatization, we take a slow and steady pace through the forest. You may encounter various wildlife and birds along the way. The trail leads us to Pitam Deurali, a peaceful hilltop village offering beautiful views of the Himalayas. Overnight in Pitam Deurali.

Distance: 6.7 km
After breakfast, we continue trekking, then branch off from the Annapurna Circuit trail onto a quieter, off-the-beaten path. The trail consists of a mix of gradual ascents and descents through a serene forest dominated by pine and rhododendron trees. Wildlife like leopards, deer, monkeys, and diverse bird species may be spotted along the way.
Low Camp is peaceful stop nestled among trees, offering views of the Dhaulagiri and Annapurna ranges. Overnight in Low Camp.
Duration: Approx. 3-4 hrs trek
Distance: 8.4 km
Today involves a slow ascent as we allow our bodies to adjust to the higher altitude. Trekking along a grassy ridge, we leave behind Low Camp and pass the Manjhi Danda and Nangge Danda before reaching High Camp.
High Camp is a small alpine pasture with a few lodges, offering breathtaking views of Annapurna South, Mardi Himal, and Machhapuchhre. The experience of feeling "above the clouds" makes this a special place for acclimatization. Overnight in High Camp.
Duration: Approx. 7-8 hrs trek
Distance: 12.2 km
A long and rewarding day awaits. Start early to catch the sunrise from High Camp. The trail is narrow and rocky, demanding careful steps. After a few hours of steep trekking, we reach the Mardi Himal Base Camp.
At the base camp, you’ll be rewarded with incredible panoramic views of Mardi Himal, Machhapuchhre, Annapurna I, Annapurna III, and Gangapurna. After spending some time soaking in the views, we trek back to High Camp. Overnight in High Camp.

Distance: 12 km
We begin our descent today. From High Camp, we descend steeply past Nangge Danda and Low Camp. The trail then veers away from the classic route and winds through lush rhododendron forests toward the Mardi River.
The path passes through terraced fields, traditional farms, and suspension bridges before reaching Siding Village—a tranquil and less-trodden settlement in the Nepali countryside. Overnight in Siding.

After morning breakfast, we will drive towards Pokhara by private/ shared jeep according your package type. You will have free time in Pokhara to explore tourist attraction places like Phewa Lake, international mountain museum etc.

After early breakfast, we drive or flight back to Kathmandu. In drive the journey offers beautiful views of rivers, green hills, and rural villages. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, transfer to your hotel for a relaxing evening.

We will start our trek from Phedi and ascend up to Mardi Upper viewpoint (4250m/13600ft). We have created Itinerary in proportion to proper acclimatization so normally we don’t need oxygen on this trek. In case of altitude sickness we will descend immediately. If any altitude sickness symptoms are seen then we provide Diamox as a medication.

Normally, Within 12-24 hours after ascending a certain height(1,500 to 2,500 meter above sea level) altitude sickness symptoms like dizziness, fatigue, loss of appetite, sleep problems, loss of energy, and shortness of breath are seen. In case of any altitude sickness symptoms we will apply medication and descend immediately for acclimatization.
