    Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to Hotel.

    Fly to Lukla and Trek to Phakding.

    Duration: Kathmandu to Lukla flight (30 minute) 
                     : Kathmandu to Manthali Airport (4 hrs drive) &         Manthali to Lukla (20 minute flight)

    You will either take a direct flight from Kathmandu to Lukla (30 minute flight) or drive about 4 hours to Manthali Airport, followed by a 20-minute flight to Lukla. After landing at the Tenzing-Hillary Airport, the trek begins with a gentle downhill walk.
    You will pass through Cheplung and Ghat villages, enjoying views of lush green valleys, pine forests, and the beautiful Dudh Koshi River. This region follows Buddhism, so you’ll see prayer flags, mani walls, and stupas along the way. After around 3–4 hours of walking, you’ll reach Phakding, a peaceful riverside village known for its lodges, bakeries, and tea houses. You'll stay overnight at a lodge in Phakding.

    Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar.

    Duration: Approx. 5-6 hrs trek
    Distance: Approx. 7.5 km

    After breakfast, your trek begins with uphill along the Dudh Koshi River. The trail offers views of forests, waterfalls, and prayer wheels. You’ll catch your first glimpse of Mt. Thamserku (6,608m).
    At Monjo, you’ll enter the Sagarmatha National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The trail features multiple suspension bridges, including the scenic Tenzing-Hillary Bridge. After that, the climb to Namche Bazaar becomes steeper and more physical demanding.
    After about 2 hours of uphill trekking, you will reach at Namche Bazaar—a vibrant mountain town where tradition meets modernity. Here, you’ll find shops, cafes, bakeries, and beautiful mountain views. After checking into your lodge, enjoy a short walk around in the evening.

    Trek from Namche Bazaar to Khumjung.

    Duration: Approx. 2-3 hrs trek
    Distance: 4 km

    After breakfast in the morning, we will walk toward Everest View Hotel, from where you can enjoy panoramic views of Everest, Ama Dablam, Nuptse, Lhotse, Cholatse, and Taboche. After spending some time there, sipping tea and taking in the stunning mountain scenery, we will continue our walk to Khumjung Valley.
    Khumjung is a traditional Sherpa village where locals still practice agriculture, growing crops such as barley and potatoes. In the evening, you can explore around Khumjung, visit the monastery, and see the famous Khumjung Hillary School established by Sir Edmund Hillary.

    Trek from Khumjung to Monjo.

    Duration: Approx. 4-5 hrs trek
    Distance: 10 km

    As usual, after morning breakfast, we will descend gradually and join the Everest Base Camp trail at Namche. From there, we will continue downhill to Jorsalle, followed by a short uphill section leading to Monjo. Monjo is a peaceful village located near the entrance of Sagarmatha National Park

    Trek from Monjo to Lukla.

    Duration: Approx. 5-6 hrs trek
    Distance: 12 km

    On this final day of our trek, we will begin by descending from Monjo, passing through the beautiful villages of Phakding, Ghat, and Chheplung. Along the way, you’ll enjoy scenic views of terraced fields, prayer stones, and suspension bridges. The last part of the trail involves a steady uphill climb to reach Lukla. Once you arrive in Lukla, you can relax and celebrate the successful completion of your trek.

    Fly back to Kathmandu.

    Duration: Lukla to Kathmandu flight (30minute) 
                    :Lukla to Manthali (20minute) flight and Manthali Airport to Kathmandu (4hrs drive).

    Take a morning flight back to Kathmandu. Your guide will transfer you to your hotel. In the evening, enjoy a farewell dinner at a traditional Nepali restaurant, marking the end of your unforgettable Everest Base Camp Trek.

Short trek to Everest base is considered a easy-moderate trek. In this trek we ascend up to Tengboche (3,867m/12,684ft) and descend back across diverse terrains which takes 9-10 days to complete the whole trek.

The prime time for Everest Short Trek is during Spring (March, April and May) and Autumn (October and November). During these seasons the weather will be clear, flowers will bloom on the way, the charm of the atmosphere can be felt by the heart, magnificent views of the Himalayas can be seen and you can escape the crowd and enjoy the pleasure of trekking.

Yes!! You can charge mobile phones and camera batteries during the trek. At most of the places you will get to charge for free but at some places you have to pay some amount to charge. Remember that It is always better to bring your power bank with you which will be helpful.

There are two base camps on either side (North and South) of Mount Everest. South base camp is in Nepal at an altitude of (5363m/17598ft) and North base camp is located in Tibet at an altitude of (5514m/18093ft).

There is no age limit for trekking to Everest. The things that are to be considered are your health and fitness and agreement. We do not recommend childrens as it will be too hard and risky to trek with them. Due to the advancement of the trekking industry, we can find enough lodges and tea houses throughout Everest Region trekking routes. They offer good food and accommodation although there are different options you can choose according to your needs and budget. Also you should know that at high altitude places like Gorakshep the service will be limited.

Yes!! The Internet is accessible during the EBC trek. You can access the 3G network on mobile phones. The mobile internet is fast enough to browse and even make video calls. You will get continous signal during the whole trek but there will be certain dark spots along the trek where connection may drop. There are limited wifi hotspots during the trek which will charge for usage only some will let you use it for free. So, for internet access we recommend you to buy a SIM and use 3G.

Yes!! It is recommended to have travel insurance during the trek. It is uncertain that you will not feel sick or get into any accidents during the trek. So, for medical emergencies or as precaution against risks and financial losses that could happen while traveling, insurance is best.

Normally, Within 12-24 hours after ascending a certain height(1,500 to 2,500 meter above sea level) altitude sickness symptoms like dizziness, fatigue, loss of appetite, sleep problems, loss of energy, and shortness of breath are seen. In case of any altitude sickness symptoms we will apply medication and descend immediately for acclimatization.

Trekking via the local agency is one of the great ideas for trekkers. There are more local trekking organizations in Nepal. The hard part is you need to recognize whether they are authorized businesses and are members of the Trekking Agency Association of Nepal (TAAN).You can view their internet site and profiles commonly all legal organizations will upload their profile along with authorities-legal certificates.

Age Restrictions for Trekking in Everest Region

If they are healthy and wiling there is no age restrictions for Everest Base Camp. Many young & old peoples from 5 years to 65 years old people have completed Everest Base Camp trek every year.

Physical Fitness

Everest Short Trek is easy trek low altitude and short duration. Every day around 3 to 4 hours need to walk to cover 4/5km. We recommend to walk slowly to help with acclimatization.

Difficulty Level

The trek is rated easy. It involves short hours of walking on uneven terrain, with low altitude of reaching up to Monjo (2,840m/9,318 ft) meters. Proper acclimatization and preparation are crucial for old and young. 

Weather & Temperature

In Everest region it’s very hard to forecast the weather. Some days can be rain, fog, cold, hot etc. Night time temperature are significantly lower than day time temperature. Weather and temperature ranges are typically based on month & Season. We recommend trekkers to have sleeping bag about -10 degree Celsius.

About Flight to Lukla

During peak seasons, such as March, April, May, September, October and November flights to Lukla operate from Ramechhap instead of Kathmandu due to high air traffic. Ramechhap is a 7-hour drive from Thamel, Kathmandu. In other months, flights operate directly from Kathmandu.

Passing through Sherpa village, trek is mix of deep cultural and spiritual experiences and physically challenges test your strength & endurance.

Check Point

Monjo is the entrance to the Sagarmatha National Park at “Jorsale” check point where permits are checked. 

Bag and its weight

Total weight should be 15kilos (33pounds) on your flight from Kathmandu- Lukla - Kathmandu with hand carry. So 4/5kilos on hand carry & 11/10kilos in checked bag. If your bag is more then they allowed weight you have to pay extra USD 2 to 5 USD per Kilogram. Therefore we recommend you pack within 15 kg weight limit or drop unnecessary items in Kathmandu hotel.

Sleeping bag & Down Jacket Weight

Approximately 1.7kg weight will be sleeping bag & 1.2kg weight will be down jacket.

Our potter have 70-80 little capacity duffle bag and he can carry 20/25/30 kg weight of two people.

Morning Trekking & Ending time

Early morning we will wake up around 7:00 – 7:30 am and we will do shortly stretching our body. After breakfast at guesthouses we will start our joinery from 8am to evening 4/5pm. After dinner our guide will explain about tomorrow timing and activates.

About Accommodation

In Kathmandu, we offer a wide variety of accommodation options, ranging from 5-star to 2-star hotels. Guests can choose between Bed and Breakfast (BB) or Full Board plans based on their preferences.

During the trek, we use teahouses that provide clean and comfortable rooms with either private or shared bathrooms. In Lukla, Phakding, and Namche, we ensure accommodations with attached toilets. However, in other locations along the trek, shared toilet facilities are available.

We recommend that you bring personal items such as towels, soap, hand sanitizer, and other essentials for your comfort.

Food in Trek

Multiple choices are available in guesthouses like Daal Bhat, Bread Eggs, Potatoes, Pasta, and Soup etc. Hot drinks include coffee, hot Chocolate, Tea, Lemon drinks. Vegetarian meals are provided by teahouses.

Drinking Water

Tap water can be found along the trek in guesthouses and water purification tablets should use to purify the natural water to make them safe to drink. You can buy boiled water from the teahouse to ensure safe drinking water as an alternative.

Hot Water for Shower

Hot water are available from Lukla to Namche Bazar with extra cost. We don’t recommend to take shower to avoid sickness.

Guide Service

Our guides are certified by Government of Nepal with valid trekking guide licenses. They received training in mountain safety, first aid and customer service. They are familiar with local terrain, culture and weather condition. Our guides are fluent in Nepal. Our guide will play role as bridge between trekkers and local communities, promoting culture exchanges and understanding. They will arrange your lodges and food entire whole trip. 

Potter Service

We will selected potter based on their Physical fitness, honesty and reliability. Our potter won’t be under age or old age. Work together with guides and fellow porters to ensure a smooth and enjoyable trekking experiences. Our potter will be always local people so that he can adjust with altitude. He will carry 20/25/30 kg according to situation. 

 Attitude Sickness Prevention

Attitude sickness is possibility during this trek. Higher elevations has less oxygen available. To avoid altitude sickness trekkers are educated about symptoms and prevention strategies. Our guide encourage hydration, rest and provide guidance on managing symptoms. All we provide guides are received high altitude training from Kathmandu Environment Education Project (KEEP). We will continuous received updates from our guides and give them advice. 

Evacuation Procedures

Guide and staff are trained in coordinating emergency evacuation from horse to mules or helicopter in the must needed case especially when clients needed to be hospitalized. Our Guide are 24hrs available for the service during the trek.

You should carry Nepali rupee to pay extra service which are not included in our itinerary like hot shower, battery charge, extra drink etc. For tips to guide & potter it’s based on level of service provided by them.
